Nerf 30mm Scope Mount

So I picked up a red-dot scope at a garage sale really cheap, and thought it would look cool on one of my son's nerf guns, but none of the mounts I could find looked like they would work.

I thought it would be a good idea to make the clamp part 29mm in diameter, but that left a pretty big gap on the top screw... Not so bad that I wanted to make another with modifications, though.. So I attached the freecad source file if anyone wants to try some modifications.

The part is symetrical, so just print two. A socket cap screw head fits in the nut cutout, so I didn't feel the need to make two distinct halves.

Also, forgive the blue tape on the version I printed. It didn't look so bad until I saw it in the pictures actually.
