Hello everyone! In 1999 Hasbro Interactive released a light gun shooter game titled “Nerf Jr. Foam Blaster: Attack of the Kleptons”. Included with the game was a light gun that was similarly styled to the Nerf blasters that came out around the same time, sharing a partially green and purple coloring very reminiscent of the Supermaxx 750 that came out a few years prior. I enjoy the challenge of sticking blaster internals into places they were not designed to go, so when I came across this beautiful classic shell brimming with potential, it was an absolute no-brainer. I mean, it has “Foam Blaster” in its name! It had to be done.
My two goals for this blaster were to 1: shoot a dart a comparable distance to a stock Nerf blaster, and to 2: alter the outer shell of the blaster as little as possible, preferably not at all. I’m happy to say that I achieved both of the goals, only having to add a single visible screw to the plug to hold the pull cord.
