Nerf Pilot Safety Delete

In my opinion, the safety on most (all?) Nerf Rival products is backwards. Your finger should push a safety away to disengage, and pull it towards you to engage. Nerf/Hasbro decided otherwise. After what was probably the 3rd time I attempted to draw my Nerf Pilot from my holster only to have the safety engaged by the friction of its removal and subsequently being left unable to fire my blaster at a critical moment, I decided it had to go. It would also be less than ideal to just chop it up or simply remove the plastic bit - leaving a gap. So I cobbled this thing together using primitives in Bambu Studio, and some slight changes in blender. I'm quite the novice at modeling, so it isn't perfect, but it's a lot better than just leaving an annoying and unsightly hole under the trigger guard.
