"Front" goes at the front, around the bottom tactical rail. "Rear" goes at the rear, around the back of the handguard. I designed it to fit around a Worker lightweight stock ( https://outofdarts.com/products/worker-lightweight-shoulder-stock-multiple-colors ), but it should work without one as well.
