This venturi annulus is, so far, untested. I estimate its pressure reduction ratio to be somewhere between 5:1 and 10:1, and volume increase is proportional to pressure decrease.
This is intended as a pneumatic alternative to an afterburner flywheel cage for Nerf blasters, particularly homemades.
The two primary advantages are that, for one, a Venturi doesn't have spin-up time, and secondly, the glass ceiling of flywheels no longer applies. There is no dart wear, since this does not operate by friction.
If 3D printed, it will not perform as well as if it were made of Grade 8 steel. With Grade 8 steel, I would guess it could handle around 350 psi in, meaning that the outlet airstream would have 35-70 psi behind it.
For consistent firing, the air should be released in precisely timed bursts.
