Thanks to MaxR525 for the original design, this is a remix of his "Nest Hello Shroud".
I had an issue with my home outdoor lights causing the Nest Hello image quality to be blurry and faded at night due to a light shining directly above it. The bright lights would also prevent me from being able to use night vision.
I needed a cover with a slight overhand to block out light (and potentially help prevent some rain drops on the lens over time). I found Maxr525s shroud design and just extended the top to form an overhang.
Design 01 is an even arch over the top. Design 02 is an arch with one side extending further than the other (This is the one I used for the after photos)
In the pictures you can see the before and after shots. In the after shots, one is in night mode, and the other is in day mode (day mode ended up looking better due to the house light illumination).
Wanted to share incase anyone else was facing the same issues, the picture quality is night and day ;)
