The Bus Topology:
Description:
A bus network comprises of multiple devices (Nodes) sharing the same network cable (bus).
Advantages:
Works well for small networks, due to the reduced risk of packet collisions. Easiest network topology for connecting devices and peripherals. Is often cheapest topology.
Disadvantages:
if the main cable breaks so does the whole network. Larger networks are inneficeint.
