Nextion 7″ 3D Print Files (.STL):
I downloaded Nextion’s original print file from their website for the 7″ model, but I didn’t like that it was designed to fit outside a cutout (like a standard control panel board), for my application, I wanted a “flush” mounted look.
This remixed design allows the Nextion screen to be pushed into place, creating a "flush" fit.
Additionally, I’ve modified the x4 threaded nut insert posts by making them thicker, allowing for brass inserts to be melted into place (use a soldering iron – 250C – melt the insert into the model until it’s 90% of the way seated, remove the soldering iron, use a flat surface to press it in the remining 100% of the way) without having to worry about the columns melting/warping due to the excess heat. (Use M2.5×6 brass threaded inserts)
