A long standing measurement for guitar set-ups has been to use nickels or dimes to set pickup heights. I present a set of synthetic coins set to three different heights. 1T - A coin set to the exact height of a single nickel with the intention of setting the height of the treble side of the bridge pickup on a fender telecaster. 2B - A coin set to the exact height of two nickels with the intention of setting the height of the bass side of the bridge pickup on a fender telecaster. 3N - A coin set to the exact height of three nickels with the intention of setting the height of the neck pickup on a fender telecaster. How to use this?Simply print the files, then press down the low E sting on your guitar, slide “2B” under the string but on top of the pole peice, adjust the pickup height with a screwdriver until the string begins to gently put pressure on the coin.
