Why do we like cigarettes? Because of this one molecule, nicotine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotine I printed everything in the molecule but left the hydrogen out.
It is a controversial drug because of its health risks, but many people like it. The annual sales of tobacco worldwide is still US $35 Billion (yes you read that correctly) according to http://www.worldlungfoundation.org/ht/display/ReleaseDetails/i/20439/pid/6858
