Nikon D90 - Solar Eclipse Glasses Mount

I designed this the morning of August 21st 2017 in preparation for the eclipse and wanting to take some photos on my Nikon D90.

I built this specifically for the Nikon D90, but it should work on any camera lens that has 70mm of width at the front of the lens. Worked great for me with a 55-300mm lens.

Once the print is done, you'll need a pair of solar eclipse glasses to slide through the cutout. I would recommend nothing thicker than 0.80mm in thickness. I had to wiggle mine through but it ultimately worked out perfect.

In reality, you could of course use anything else as a filter as long it is 0.80mm or less in thickness and ~38mm in height.
