Nintendo DS Hinge Mount

This is a replacement hinge mount for the original Nintendo DS. It is for the left side by default, but can be mirrored for the right side. It includes two tabs that will slot into the face of the DS once the remnants of the original hinge is removed, cleaned up, and sanded flat to the base.

Before installing, do a dry fit-test. Then, when installing, force a small bit of cyanoacrylate (super glue) into the tab holes and then put a bit on the tabs themselves. The glue should spread to provide a good bond on the face as well as in the tab recesses on the base making for a strong repair. Epoxy could be used, but a good, flat sanding and the tight clearances should make cyanoacrylate plenty sufficient if not superior.
