Nintendo Switch Simple Cartridge Case

I wanted to create a very basic, high capacity Nintendo Switch cartridge case for travelling. It's not very elaborate, my priority being the simplest geometry with the smallest footprint for the amount of games.

Please be aware that the case has an intentional 2mm gap between the top and bottom half when filled with cartridges, that was an aesthetic decision on my part but if you want a closed seam then increase the height of either part in your slicer by 2-3mm.


Please feel free to edit or take inspiration from this design; from actual closing mechanisms to aesthetic improvements this has a lot of room for improvement. Like I said, I just needed something that did this one thing and nothing else, but felt like sharing it just in case it could be of use to somebody else too.

Edit 2020/09/19: Added a version with thicker interior walls since Cura seems to complain about things PrusaSlicer has no issues with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ anyways, I have now sliced it with both Cura and PrusaSlice
