No.4 - Techsuit Octiman

This Octiman has his own tech suit and is designed by Ettienne Vorster.

The general approach for making this version of Octiman was mainly inspired by the Hexagon shape of the DIYElectronics logo as well as giving the reference character an “upgrade” on the original suit. Hexagon shapes can be seen throughout the design and is a large part of the design for the tech suit which helps give it the stylized sci-fi appearance. This truly unique design was an interesting take on the competition.

What makes this model even more impressive is that Ettienne doesn’t have a 3D Printer to test the designs on as this is one of the first model they have designed specifically for 3D Printing. We have tested the model and it is printable with supports.
