This is a simple fan shroud to modify the Nova 3d Elfin2 light chamber to allow active cooling of the LCD. The LCD in this printer has a tendency to fail due to overheating.
I use a 5V Noctua 4010 fan wired to the serial port on the Elfin2 for continuous power. Mount the fan to the print using M3 bolts and nuts.
Using a 9/64 drill bit, I drilled 3 holes along the top edge of the light chamber. You may be able to drill more holes to improve cooling. It may be beneficial to modify this adapter to use a centrifugal fan that would have higher airflow or improve the shroud to improve airflow. This is NOT airflow optimized and was done as proof of concept.
Based on a mod first performed by Rui de Carvalho on the Nova3D Elfin Printer Group.
