No matter how many times I had seen these little spinners in the impulse buy section near the cash registers I've never felt that I'd have a practical use for one. That is until I noticed CHEP use one to change out nozzles so I decided to make my own.
Ready to print face down.
1/4" hex has a hole in the back in case a bit gets stuck.
1/4" drive was designed for a 7mm Craftsman socket. Make sure your socket is less than 11.5mm in diameter.
3/8" drive was designed for a 7mm Kobalt socket. Make sure your socket is less than 17mm in diameter.
I haven't tested these yet but I imagine they will stand up to moderate use and should easily be able to remove a nozzle which is what they were intended for.
Happy printing!
