✨ Number Counting Peg Boards – 3D Printable Math Activity (Homeschool Friendly) I made these 3D printed Number Counting Peg Boards for my husband’s kinder class, and the kids absolutely love them — so I wanted to share them here in case they’re helpful for other families too. They’re not a traditional Montessori material, but they’re very much Montessori-aligned in how they’re used — hands-on, simple, and designed with a control of error to help kids really understand numbers. I haven’t made a proper spindle box yet, but this has ended up serving a really similar purpose in our learning. 👩🏫 How we use them Each board represents a number (1–9), and kids can: Count out pegs or loose parts Match quantity to the number Trace the number with their finger It’s simple, but it works really well — especially for kids who need to see and feel their learning. 💛 Why I designed it this way I don’t have fancy setups or heaps of resources — just a home (and a classroom!) where we’re trying to make
