Nutella Jar Lamp

Many of you have some empty Nutella jars at home, so do I. And I thought: why not re-use the jar as a lantern one can use inside, outside and wherever you want to use it.

My design uses a 800g Nutella jar I bought in Germany. Not sure about the sizes in other countries. I designed my thing in Solidworks, if my design should not fit to other jars I can supply my original part files.

Will it fit on my Nutella jar? My nutella jar has an inner diameter of 73.75mm and an outer diameter of 79.6mm.

For the lighting I used four white LEDs, powered by a 9V block battery and operated by a simple switch. The circuit board is hold with a M8 screw to the print. The print has a thread for the screw.

The thing itself is printed with a MarkForged printer and is made out of Nylon.

To get some diffusivity in the jar I filled it with plastic wrap.
