Nylon Strap Clamp

3D model started out as a wrist strap. I added an array of sharp cones to grip an old piece of nylon strap that would be clamped in between to the halves. What surprised me was the strength of the grip that this created. It is nearly impossible to pull the nylon strap out from between the clamps when the 2 halves are bolted together. This model will be the starting point for future adaptations that might include a sturdy loop to pull a rope through or used as a way of creating a loop on the end of a long piece of strap. 4x 5mm hex nuts and bolts (25mm) . The nuts and bolts and can be melted into the hex-cutouts with a soldering iron for flush mounting. Bolts may be cut off flush if desired. A NOTE OF CAUTION: this is an untested prototype. This should not be used for heavy lifting that could cause damage or a hazardous situation to the user. I've listed this as non-commercial for that reason. User-beware.
