O-Wacky Tool

I like to fish for bass using the wacky style of fishing. This is a very simple method of fishing just google "wacky fishing" and you'll get all sorts of results and videos on this method.

You basically use a senko type of worm and hook it through the middle. The problem is that after a couple of fish the worms break in half. A solution to this problem is to use a little o-ring in the middle of the worm with a hook just under the o-ring. Doing this preserves the worms so you are not replacing the worm after each cast.

The trouble with the rings is that you have to use a tool to get it over the worm since the rings are small and tight. The o-wacky tool is what you use to do this. You can buy these for about $10, but I figure why buy it when you can print if for next to nothing.

I designed this to allow several rings to be stored on the tool. To use it, just slip the worm in and then slide the ring onto the worm. This will work with up to 6" worms!
