Beneteau sailboats (and others) use Ocean Air screens and blinds on their hatches . The handles eventually break due to sun and time. The original handles have 2 trapezoidal tabs that slide into the aluminum extrusion. I replicated the two tab design for PETG with a larger cross section at the break point, but also designed a 4 tab TPU (Bambu TPU for AMS polyurethane 68 D shore harness) ) handle. The TPU is flexible, but stretches when it is pulled, and the two tab design was not strong enough. The 4 tab design could be 3D printed in PEGT, but since the PETG is less flexible, it is hard to get it past the dimples in the extrusion. You might need to push the base of the trapezoid tabs 0.1mm to allow them to install more easily.
