This is an adapter to fit two commonly found Honeywell or NORTH brand filters to an Oceanreef Aria mask. The intent is to creat a solution that should in theory aid in protecting the wearer against contracting COVID-19 or inhaling harmful airborne particles.
IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A CERTIFIED OR GUARANTEED SOLUTION. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I offer no guarantee of effectiveness, but I'm willing to provide support and all relevant info I've been able to accumulate.
YOU WILL NEED:
1x Oceanreef Aria Mask
2x P100 or similar Honeywel/NORTH brand filters
2x ~1" Umbrella valves (These are difficult to source)
2x ~1" Backup Ring Gasket (https://www.mcmaster.com/5288t257)
NOT designed to print on FDM, use DLP or SLA printers.
The print is slightly undersize to the mask. Sit the Adapter in hot or boiling water for 10 seconds and press fit it on. Let it cool in place for a few minutes and it will hold its shape. If you leave it off the mask for a couple days, it may need to be rehea
