Octopus 3D Print Project This octopus model is built to print as separate components, so you don’t need ACE Pro. All parts are printable independently — simply pick the body color you want and print the rest to match or contrast. The design is optimized for straightforward assembly and clean results. Recommended print settings: Infill: 12% or higher for a sturdy structure. Layer height: 0.20 mm or lower to achieve a smoother top surface. Supports: Required only for the octopus body. Do not enable automatic supports for the eye sockets — instead, paint/support the top surface of the eye holes manually. If you prefer, use the included .3mf file which contains optimized support placement. Assembly & finishing: Parts fit together cleanly; some light sanding or filing may be helpful at connection points. You can scale the entire model freely — small prints are charming, larger prints show more detail. Mix and match filament colors for tentacles, eyes, and accessories, but choose one main body color for the best visual impact. Notes & tips: Test a single tentacle first if you want to dial in bridging and overhang behavior. If you plan to paint, use a primer for the best adhesion. This model is beginner-friendly but also suitable for makers who like multi-part printing and customization.
