Oculopods

Sarah and Nathaniel first encounter with the world they explore is a odd series of creatures. On examination they seem only concerned with finding places to hide and things to inhabit. Closer inspection proves the previous is not so true. The "Oculpods" are fierce defenders of each other and their prized protective housings. Rarely seen fully exposed, they will mount an offensive regardless. What they lack in strength they can make up in swarms.
