Here's a battery mount for the Oculus Quest and a Aukey PB-Y14 20000 mAH battery. This battery is pretty big but the weight balances the Quest very well.
It was a quick design so it isn't perfect but it works!
No extra straps or bands required, just slip it on the OEM strap and slide the battery in. A small section of the strap sits behind the battery giving you some friction to keep it in place.
