Oculus Rift Case Fan Mount

Playing some games in VR can give you quite a workout. So I modeled this case fan mount that you can strap to the top of the Oculus Rift headset (or likely most other VR headsets).

I printed this at 100% fill for durability.

What's nice about this is, 80mm case fans are extremely cheap. To power these was actually really easy. These fans run at 12 volts, so to power them I just bought a USB voltage step up converter on ebay (super cheap ... only a couple bucks), then cut the end of the fan wires and plugged them into the converter. Then I used a regular USB cable to run to a USB wall adapter.

PS. Pay no mind to the binder clips which fix the worn out velco, or the wood counter weight I attached to the back so young kids could use the headset.
