I haven't found time for any massive engineering projects lately but now and again I still mess around in 3d.
Shows a technique for making crystal shapes in OpenSCAD, a technique for getting polygon normals in OpenSCAD, hopefully useful to somebody.
The two images that refuse to show are politely sized anigifs:
