OLIN mouse

This OLIN gaming mouse is designed to push the boundaries of the male dominated gaming community. With most mice on the market geared towards young males, gaming mice most often look overly complicated and aggressive. As the gaming community expands, the way we market gaming gear must expand as well. Inspired by the Nike Go Fly-ease, the OLIN mouse blends aesthetic, functionality, and inclusivity. A gender neutral aesthetic appeals to a broader range of gamers The sleek, dynamic design provides high performance, and it’s symmetric shape fits both right handed and left handed gamers. I spent a majority of my time sketching and modeling prototypes to find an aesthetic and form factor that fit my vision for the mouse. While aggressive mice are more marketable and block-shaped mice are easier to manufacture, I aimed for a more fluid look and took a surface modeling approach to designing this mouse.
