Oloid

An Oloid is a fascinating geometric shape created by connecting two identical circles at right angles, with each circle's center lying on the other. Discovered by Paul Schatz in 1929, it is famous because its entire surface touches the ground as it rolls, creating a smooth and unique motion. Its unusual geometry makes it popular in CAD modelling, mathematics, engineering, and kinetic sculpture design.
