3rd Update 4th of November 2020:
designed a new friction brake using the same M10 x 30mm screw. The brake consists of 2 printed parts. First one is a new base mount and 2nd one is a sliding block with a pen spring inside. The front of the sliding block is covered by a piece of felt. With this design a slight unround mounted turntable (upper part of the Dobson mount) will be compensated. Maybe you need to file a little bit the sides of the sliding block until it fits smooth into the base mount.
2nd Update 4th of Nov 2020:
printed the 5mm adapter disc now and it seems that this is the better solution than the 6mm disc.
UPDATE 4th of November 2020:
added 2 alternative adapter discs with 5mm and 5.5mm hight. Did not print and check until today but maybe the 6mm disc is too high. Please check. I will do in the next days. However it works also with the 6mm disc but I want to optimize it.
