## Open-rack
This is the Open-rack, a rack you can make yourself with base stuff and for cheap.
It is intended for home-lab cable and equipment management.
## Video
https://youtu.be/Nbu95Gau4pY
## Stuff needed?
What do you need additionally:
* 20x20mm scantling
* 80x20mm pine board
* some wood screws
* equipment like saw, screwdriver and drill if you are fancy
## Making
You'll need to print 2 upper and 2 bottom mounts, cable holders are optional.
Measure the width and height that you need and cut the wooden parts to size.
Pine board is used as a top part, scantlings are used as legs and feet.
Once cutted to size, mark the holes and secure everything with right screws.
You can use drill to make holes first, this will make your job more pleasant.
Now, mount your equipment.
## Warning
As you might imagine, wood is not the material you want in a server room, thus you are making the thing on your own responsibility. Having said that, I strongly believe that this solution is still better
