A quick weekend project, no soldering required, simply plug and play open source.

This is an entirely open source cyberdeck eReader. It’s running RPi OS with KoReader allowing it to be a full Linux computer as well as an eReader.
I used a Raspberry Pi model 4 B with 8gb of ram and a 128gb mini SD to future proof any future needs I may have but it could absolutely run on as little as 1gb of ram with a 32gb mini SD.

The whole point of this build was for it to be an easy weekend build so I can have a digital backup of all my epubs in a format that is not beholden to amazon or any other closed loop system!
