Parts for my remix of the open source syringe pump (http://www.appropedia.org/Open-source_syringe_pump). end_motor.stl, blade.stl and carriage_w_escape_v2.stl are unchanged from the originals and only included for completeness.
This variant will take 3ml and 1ml standard disposable syringes, and the overall length was reduced for an exact fit to these two sizes. The clamps were reduced in thickness so the syringes can be fully actuated. Consequently, the following must be replaced from the original parts list:
- 4x M3x35 instead of M3x40 for the idler end
- 2x 160mm 6mm diameter tool steel rods (shortened)
- 1x 150mm M5 threaded rod (shortened)
If you want to change between 1ml and 3ml, you need to swap in the appropriate retainer. I will not do this often, so this solution appeared more stable and convenient.
I also use the Lynch pusher block with removable blade. M3 holes for attaching to a base plate were added to the idler end (to be used in combination with motor_attac
