You can disable it by setting "uninstall_notch_width" to 0. This is an open-source generator for openGrid snaps. Now this file includes not only a recreation of David's official snaps, but also self-expanding snaps, openConnect snaps and screws, with both regular and folded version available. I also tried to expose as many parameters as possible in the customizer. Hopefully this can be helpful for openGrid users, either to design their own snaps or simply to make use of the snap geometry.
