OpenROV Payload Rail System

This is a system that I developed using standard picatinny rails that has holes for the OpenROV payload bars. Standard accessories such as Go-Pro mounts such as this will fit well on this bar. This system allows for multiple positions, allowing the load to be well balanced. I have had more than 3 Go Pro cameras mounted to this system at once, along with a variety of sensors.

It is recommended to move the buckle that fastens under the E-Capsule to the side of the ROV, because once this is mounted it becomes difficult to access. The holes are slightly small to allow a threading action when the bars are placed through, allowing better positioning of the bar once on the ROV.

Included with this is a model of an interface block, which can be pasted on to any 3D model to make it compatible with this system.
