*UPDATE: New features added! There is now a Plastic Saver option for taller terrains (1 for Plastic Saver and 0 for solid) and a you can also now have random grid heights for uneven and rough terrain, simply input max and min values for the random setting (0 max and 0 min for no random). All of the options for OpenTerrain can be used simultaneously, so you could conceivably have a double incline any-size grid with rough random terrain that saves plastic and has a customized magnet size!*

I love the concept of OpenForge. Modular, customized, 3D printed scenery for RPGs. devonjones did a great job, OpenForge 2.0 looks amazing, with magnetic attachments and multiple stories, but unfortunately it is only in stone. Even in OpenForge 1, there was not anything for outside terrain. It was optimized for small grids and hallways, but my Dungeons and Dragons group does almost every quest entirely in the outside, and so castle floors are not so helpful to me.

Hence, OpenTerrain was born!
