I created this mostly because I wanted to work out how to do those nice curves in OpenSCAD. Then I discovered TUSH++ and liked the idea of the jointing plate so I created one of those in the this design file too. The two parts need to be designed together as the thickness of the side plates dictates the slot width of the jointing plate.
I also added an M3 hole so that the side plates can be screwed together if your bearing spindles are not a "snug" enough fit. With my printer I find some are and some aren't within the same print! The screws also mean these can be used without the jointing plate, just like the original TUSH.
The design is fully parametrised meaning you can change dimensions in the variables at the top of the file in the OpenSCAD editor to suit whatever bearing you might have or spool diameter you want to support. If you want to make the Jointing plates longer or shorter, you just
