UPDATED - 25 Aug 2022
While modifying the Original Xbox (XBOXOG) I noticed the OpenXenium Mod Chip didn't seem to be very stable and was moving a lot when plugged into the motherboard.
So I designed this simple but effective platform / holder that makes the modchip not move at all.
It wraps around the pin header of the modchip & pin header on the xbox.
You can print in any settings you wish, I went with Cura Dynamitic Quality & 20% infil.
Added a v2 for Xbox V1.2 - 1.3 boards due to a small smd cap at the side. (RedOverlord feedback)
Added a new style of clip, this one just clips around the OpenXenium and has one leg to keep it up. It is a tight fit !!
Shout out to the MakeMhz discord for all the positive feedback! If you haven’t joined their discord, great place for support and their XboxHD+ mod.
2024 update:
I have been made aware of someone selling this free design on eBay & I have reached out to the seller to ask them to give credit to this original desig
