Print using a black filament to be able to block light more efficiently. The back cover is optional.
The stock ender 5 board does not have 3 pins to connect the terminals, so you need to make some adjustments. I use a BTT SKR V1.4 Turbo, you just need to pay attention to the order of the pins.
Precision / repeatability may be affected by light conditions, but works well for me.
