I wanted a stand for the infinity orb from Guardians of the Galaxy 1 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:430184) and looking at the stock image included, a simple base like this seemed to closely match what was used. Very simple design, laser cut in acrylic that was ~0.215 inches thick. This gave me a nice tight friction fit with no glue needed and no wobbly legs.
Could also easily hold a commemorative baseball or some other special round object. Or a pinecone
Proportionality is slightly off so I will probably recut and upload one with a wider circular seat to better match the stock image.
