Ornament - drum

This is a drum ornament that is designed to easily print on a fused filament machine. Just place the flat side down and the groove sides are tapered at 60deg.

Stuff needed:

3d prints, yarn, glue, toilet paper roll, ribbon (optional), paint (optional)

Print top(1x) and bottom(1x)
or
(2x) the bottom

The ring on the top lid is off-center so the drum hangs slightly crooked. Optionally, use 2 bottoms and hang it off the edge.

The middle cylinder can be made from a toilet paper roll. The design diameter is 42 mm. Optionally, the cylinder part can be printed with the model file. This part is 37mm tall to match my 35mm ribbon but it can be stretched in the printer software if desired.

The lids can be spray-painted prior to assembly. I found silver worked well and gave good options for the other color choices.
