Ortlieb Quick Rack Extension

The Ortlieb Quick Rack is a little too narrow to strap my large tent to it. It used to roll to the side and almost fall off. Therefore, I designed this extension platform to give it more stability. There are hole for zip ties to strap the two pieces to the rack. Additionally, there are holes in the pieces to pass through an up to 30mm strap. This also helps making sure the strap doesn't touch the wheel.

Printed in PETG without supports.

The original version worked fine with a ~3kg tent and when going over smooth terrain (think Dutch bike paths). It reached its limits and broke with a 5kg dry bag on rough terrain (think German bike paths). Therefore, I'm adding a stronger version that supports the areas that broke and is generally a bit sturdier. Also, I increased the clearing to the bars of the rack so some protecting tape fits in between. Recommend to print it with at least 25% infill.
