How to disassemble the Wacom LP190K pen. Please note: Due to the nature of the pen&#39;s design, there is no way to take it apart without destroying the outer shell. It cannot be reassembled. There is also a risk of damaging the PCB during the disassembly. That being said, this is the best method I&#39;ve found for disassembling the pen. Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the plastic near the flare of the pen. The goal is to get the plastic to deform and separate from the inner core. Keep crushing and rotating the pen until the inner core can be removed. I do not recommend using a knife to try to cut the plastic away. There is a coil of thin copper wires inside, and if it is damaged/cut into, the pen will not work (ask me how I know). Also you risk injuring yourself. <img
