Oticon ConnectClip Stand

I use an Oticon hearing aid and recently got a ConnectClip. It's a bluetooth gadget that connects to your hearing aid (and your phone) and uses a built-in mic to switch off the hearing aid mic and connect directly to the hearing aid via bluetooth. The ConnectClip has a better microphone than the hearing aid, and you can place it near a person speaking in challenging situations, such as a crowded restaurant, where you'd normally struggle to hear the person over the general background hum.

However, ConnectClip doesn't come with a stand, so you end up balancing the ConnectClip on a glass or something while trying to angle the mic towards the speaker. Someone inevitably jogs the glass, and the Clip ends up swimming in beer.

So, I designed this... is a small stand that clips onto the ConnectClip, and it angles the Clip towards the other person speaking. Because the connection is over bluetooth, you can place the Clip up to 20m away from where you're sitting, directly in front of a speake
