Outdoor socket cover

I wanted to protect my outdoor socket against rain and water of the spinkler in the garden. The socket itself is a moisture-proof socket outlet, but only made for roofed areas outside.

The cover is closed at four sides, the small lids on the backside are used to fix the cover between the socket an the wall. The cutout at the frontside kan be closed by the second part if necessary. The topside has an angle of approx 3° to drain the water off. For mechanical strength there are struts on the inner side.

You can use my cover with 68mm width socket outlet or remix it to fit at other types of sockets.
