My toddler kept pulling out the cords for my fan and subwoofer - drove me nuts until I remembered I had a 3D printer. Works great. Even with the thin material, it's solid enough to hold up against his little might.
This is designed for typical 2-prong plugs with a slight rim around the base of the plug and a center-screw, 2-plug socket. I had to replace the center screw with a slightly longer one in order to get enough threads in to hold tight.
Designed in Sketchup. Included the Sketchup files in case you want to modify for a different screw pattern or to hold a 3-pronged plug.
UPDATE 1/4/2023 (about 5 months later)
Well, he did it. Little tike has gotten stronger and managed to snap the limbs. Uploaded Version 2, which is quite a bit beefier. Also recommend printing horizontal instead of vertical so that the layers go in a direction that is stronger. Hopefully this is the last version. If not, will provide an update.
Image is still from V1.
