This is a remix of a remix(Ender-3 Side Spool Mount -> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2967567) of Spool Holder Adaptor(Ender 3 Filament Spool Holder Adaptor v01 Fixed for S3D -> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2964818)
It is a bit overengineered, so it can withstand really heavy spools without breaking and it is very solid. I had a problem with Side version, where those T nuts chewed sides of alumium extrusion, so I have designed this.
You need:
2x stock M5x10 screws
2x M5 nut
(up to) 16x M5x12 screws
(up to) 16x T-nut for 2020 extrusion
First insert both nuts into their slots from side. There are 4 rows of 4 holes around the L shape that sits on extrusion. Put all your M5x12 screws into those holes and on the side of the extrusion screw your T-nuts. You don't need to populate all 16 holes, I bought only 10 sets(M5x12 screws + T-nut) and it worked very good. From the back side of your printer slide whole assembly on the extrusion and tighten those M5x12 screws so that
