Overlock Thread Winding Bobbin / Spool Splitter

This simple overlock bobbin was designed to help wind multiple spools of thread from a single source spool. Sometimes you only have one cone of thread, but an overlock (serger) requires up to four spools. With this bobbin, you can easily rewind thread from one original spool onto several smaller spools, making it much more convenient to prepare matching threads for overlock sewing. The design is easy to use and perfect for home sewing setups. I originally made this for my wife, and it quickly became a very practical tool in our sewing workflow. Material Recommendation:For best durability and long-term use, I recommend printing this model in PETG. It provides better strength and wear resistance compared to PLA, especially when the part is used repeatedly.
