OVERSIZED ACE VERSION R1 - THIS IS NOW DEPRECIATED FOR R2 WHICH FIXES A FEW ISSUES WITH THIS VERSION. THIS STILL WORKS AND USES LESS FILAMENT AND WILL STILL BE AVAILIABLE FOR DOWNLOAD IF YOU STILL PREFER THE OLD VERSION. VERSION R2 - THIS IS THE LATEST DESIGN WHICH FIXES THE FLAWS IN R1, IT HAS A DIFFERENT ROD DESIGN THAT WILL PREVENT SWAYING CAUSING SPOOLS TO TUMBLE AND COLLAPSE FROM PRINTER VIBRATIONS. IT ALSO INCLUDES A REVISED SPOOL SEPERATOR THAT WILL CONTAIN THE SPOOLS FROM MOVING. THIS WILL COME AT THE COST OF MORE FILAMENT AND MORE PLATES COMPARED TO THE OLD VERSION. Design Description: This is a design created by myself that uses a custom mounting bracket with a rod that comes with breakers in between that can be adjustable to fit your varying spool sizes. The printers cannot fit the general length of the ace pro, which meant splitting the rod into two separate pieces in a design that is connected and reinforced by adding rods in the designated spots, which fits in flush. This design allows you to theoretically place four oversized spools in a 2x2 configuration on the condition that the diameter is 200mm ∅; before doing this quick installation, you may want to remove the lid held together with two spring pins as it gets in the way. THIS DESIGN EXPANDS YOUR ACE PRO FROM A 1KG*4 TO A 4KG*4 CONFIGURATION FOLLOWING A 2X2 CONFIGURATION. THIS INCREASES THE THEORITICAL MAXIMUM PRINT WEIGHT FROM 4KG TO 16KG WHICH REDUCES THE NUMBER OF TIMES REPLACING SPOOLS. If you want individual parts, files are linked just in case if something breaks; otherwise downloading the full set is the best way to have all the required pieces. ASSEMBLY TUTORIAL WILL BE UPDATED IN DOCUMENTATION SOON, IT ONLY CURRENTLY SHOWS HOW TO REMOVE THE LID.
