I bought an OXO Lily Pepper mill for 3 dollars because it was missing a cap/lid. It needed a new one to keep peppercorns from falling out, and to change the grind size. This one pops into place and has been working fine for 10 months.
It has only incidental contact with dry peppercorns, so I'm not too worried.
